Argentine Delegation Visits HongyunHonghe

An Argentine delegation led by Deputy Director Alfredo Simon of the Department of Agriculture of Jujuy Province and Board of Directors Chairman Flari Carlos of Jujuy Tobacco Cooperative in northwest Argentina visited HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – on May 30. During the visit, Flari Carlos said that cooperation between the tobacco industry of Jujuy and the tobacco industry of Yunnan is not only normal trade contact between the two sides, but is also part of the constantly developing friendship between them. The tobacco industry of Jujuy will do it can to supply high-quality leaf tobacco to Chinese enterprises, wishes to strengthen cooperation and exchange with HongyunHonghe, and expects to get continued technological and economic support from HongyunHonghe, Flari Carlos said. Meanwhile, Alfredo Simon said that Jujuy is the largest tobacco-producing province in Argentia, and that the Department of Agriculture of Jujuy Province will exert the greatest efforts to develop cooperation with HongyunHonghe, and will supply high-quality raw materials for HongyunHonghe, to meet the demand of the tobacco group to produce cigarettes of competitive brands. Receiving the Argentine delegation, HongyunHonghe CEO Wu Yi briefed the guests on incorporation of HongyunHonghe on the basis of restructuring of the tobacco industry of Yunnan, the economic efficiency of HongyunHonghe, and the development of competitive cigarette brands by the tobacco group. He said that there exists favorable basis for cooperation between the two sides, and expressed the hope that the two sides will strengthen bilateral communication and exchange on the basis of the principles of mutual benefit and common development, in order to promote bilateral cooperation to wider and higher fields. Speaking on the same occasion, HongyunHonghe Board of Directors Chairman Yao Qingyan said that HongyunHonghe is concerned about and attaches importance to cooperation with the tobacco industry of Jujuy, and expressed the hope that the two sides will abide by the contents of the framework agreement on cooperation between them, and will build up confidence and strengthen efforts in promoting bilateral cooperation to higher levels and with greater perspectives.
