Longyan Tobacco Industrial Corp. DIET Production Line Programme Kicks off

Longyan Tobacco Industrial Corp. held a ground-breaking ceremony to kick off the project of Dry Ice Expanded Tobacco (DIET) production line technological transformation on May 11. Wang Daokuan, vice general manager of China Tobacco Fujian Industrial Corp. attended the ceremony and gave a speech. Wang pointed out that the project will improve the quality and quantity of expanded tobacco to meet the trend of reduction of tar and other harmful substances in cigarette production and promote the development of low–tar Septwolves brand. It is of great strategic and realistic significance for the development of brands of CTFIC. He stressed that the project is one of key project for CTFIC in 12th five-year period.
