Yuxi Cigarette Factory Honored as Model Enterprise in Production Safety

Yuxi Cigarette Factory of Hongta Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – a leading Chinese tobacco manufacturer – has recently been honored by the State Administration of Work Safety as a "national-level model enterprise in the development of a safety culture". Yuxi Cigarette Factory received the honor at the national conference on work of the production safety and development of a safety culture held on May 10 at Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd. in Jinchang City of Gansu Province in northwest China. At the conference, the State Administration of Work Safety granted the title of honor to a total of 80 "national-level model enterprises in the development of a safety culture" for their outstanding performance in production safety control in 2011. Yuxi Cigarette Factory is the only enterprise in Yunnan Province receiving the honor. Deputy Director Li Xiangdong of Yuxi Cigarette Factory attended the conference and received the title of honor as a "national-level model enterprise in the development of a safety culture" granted by the State Administration of Work Safety.
