HongyunHonghe Communist Party Branch Organizes Voluntary Tree Planning

The 6th Communist Party General Branch of the organs of HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province organized workers and staff members of the departments under its leadership to conduct an activity of voluntary tree planting at Mount Changchong Ecological Park in the provincial capital city of Kunming on May 15. In each of the two years of 2008 and 2010, HongyunHonghe donated 10 million yuan (1.6 million U.S. dollars) in the construction of Mount Changchong Ecological Park. In carrying out the commitment of HongyunHonghe of "Striving to become a promoter of economy and a champion of environmental protection", the 6th Communist Party General Branch, which doubles as a trade union organization at the corresponding level, decided to conduct the activity of voluntary tree planting under the theme of beautifying the homeland through afforestation, with fulfillment of social obligations as a target.
