Ministerial Delegation Visits Kunming Cigarette Factory

A delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology visited Kunming Cigarette Factory of HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – on May 17, seeing production facilities and hearing reports on production and operation. HongyunHonghe leaders Xu Liwei and Dai Wei warmly welcomed the delegation led by Wang Yaoguang, deputy secretary of the Communist Party Committee of organs directly affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. At the production workshop, Wang and his entourage heard reports given by the HongyunHonghe leaders on production and operation of Kunming Cigarette Factory, and highly commented on the beautiful environment, advanced technological process, first-rate technology and equipment and high-level management at the factory. At the exhibition hall of the cigarette factory, the delegation attentively asked about the course of development of HongyunHonghe, particularly the economic efficiency, brands development, corporate culture development, etc of HongyunHonghe. At the end of the visit, Wang wrote an inscription – "May the 90-year-old Kunming Cigarette Factory be rejuvenated" – to express best wishes and great expectation to the cigarette factory. Enditem
