HongyunHonghe Holds Meeting on Investment Diversity Management

HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer – held a meeting on management over investment diversity on April 26, with the delivery of a report entitled Deepening Reform to Promote Development, Promotion to Higher Levels to Enhance Development Momentum, Striving to Promote Investment Diversity toward Specialization, Practicality and Powerfulness. In the report, HongyunHonghe reviewed its work of management over investment diversity in 2011, and specifically put forward a package of priorities and approaches for management over investment diversity in 2012 on the basis of analyzing the current trend of development of investment diversity by China's tobacco industry and in light of the realities of the tobacco industry: Firstly, companies specializing in investment diversity management shall be established as platforms and entities to exercise management over investment diversity, in order to promote investment diversity management to higher levels. Secondly, cooperation shall be extended in integration of management over hotels operated by China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Corporation. Thirdly, efforts shall be made to do a good job of renovation and transformation of hotels operated by HongyunHonghe, in order to develop competitive service brands and sharpen the competitive edge. And fourthly, there shall be adherence to the policies of streamlining, efficiency promotion, reform of the structure of resources and promoting efficiency of assets operation. Enditem
