UNITED STATES: Olczak to Replace CFO Waldemer at PMI

Jacek Olczak, head of the European Union region at Philip Morris International (PMI), will replace Chief Financial Officer Hermann Waldemer in August. Waldemer opted for early retirement, the company said today. Waldemer's stint as CFO included the years since PMI was spun off from Altria Group in March, 2008. Olczak joined PMI in 1993 and has headed the EU region since April, 2009. Drago Azinovic, president of Philip Morris Japan, will replace Olczak in Europe, the company said. Enditem
