China Cigarette Sales Volume Increased Over 6 Percent

China tobacco industry produced 210.64 billion units in March, 2012, an increase of 5.42 percent compared to the same period of 2011. China produced 722.99 billion units in the first quarter of 2012, an increase of 6.06 percent compared to the first quarter of 2011. Yunnan province is one of the largest cigarette province on the basis of cigarette production volumes. Yunnan produced 111.74 billion units in first quarter of 2012, an increase of 8.17 percent compared to the first quarter of 2011, and about 15.45 percent of China's total production. It is followed by Hunan province, Henan Province and Hubei Province, represented 7.28%, 6.28%and 6.21% of the total production. Enditem
