China: Hongta Group Honored as Model Enterprise in Information Submission

Hongta Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - a leading Chinese tobacco manufacturer - has recently been rated by the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission as a model key enterprise in the submission of corporate operation information to competent administrative authorities in the year 2011. Recently, the Information Center of State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission issued the Decision on Honoring key Enterprises for Their Work of Submitting Corporate Operation Information in the Year 2011, to honor model institutions and individuals outstanding in submitting information on corporate operation by key enterprises to competent administrative authorities. It was the fifth consecutive year for Hongta Group to win such an honor since it started the submission of its corporate operation information to competent administrative authorities in 2007. The work of submission of corporate operation information by key enterprises under the auspices of the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission is intended to provide leaders of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and the State Council including the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission with basis for analysis of operation by key enterprises in China. Therefore, as a type of important reference and basis for the Central Authorities to understand developments of key enterprises, the information submitted on corporate operation by key enterprises has always been a focus of attention by leaders of competent authorities at all levels.
