China: Septwolves (White) in Joint-Venture Production in Fujian

Septwolves (White) - a leading competitive cigarette brand owned by Longyan Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd. of Fujian Province in southeast China - is now in joint-venture production at Gannan Cigarette Factory of Jiangxi Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corporation in east China's Jiangxi Province, after the latter was leased to produce cigarettes using the brand name of Septwolves (White). On March 3, 2012, production facilities for making Septwolves (White) cigarettes were inaugurated at the leaf tobacco cutting workshop of Gannan Cigarette Factory, which meant a new breakthrough in business development by Gannan Cigarette Factory that used to operate the business of leaf tobacco cutting for other tobacco manufacturers. From February 29 to March 2, Gannan Cigarette Factory organized relevant human resources of its own and technicians sent by Longyan Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd. to conduct batch test of the Septwolves (White) cigarettes produced at the joint venture. The personnel from the two sides conducted follow-up of the whole process of production from the input of raw materials to the generation of final products, kept detailed record and made detailed analysis of the use and maintenance of the production equipment, standards of final products, etc, and managed to correct the existing problems one by one, smoothly fulfilling the test of the first batches of cigarettes produced in the joint venture, with the quality stability and technological parameters both meeting the relevant technical standards.
