Delegation of International Tobacco Dealers Visit Hongta Group

A delegation of international tobacco dealers visited on February 13 Hongta Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - a leading Chinese tobacco manufacturer, to see production facilities there and exchanged views with Hongta Group leaders on possible cooperation in tobacco trade.

The delegation included CEO Pavlov Oleh of BAT L' Vovskaya Tabachnaya Fabrika of Ukraine, CEO Saad Al-Badry of Sovereign Corporation of Jordan, and Yun-tao Ma of the World Technology Center of the United States. During the visit, relevant leaders of the technology center and Yuxi Cigarette Factory of Hongta Group showed the delegation around Cigarette Making Workshop No. 2 of Yuxi Cigarette Factory, and brief the guests on the course of development of Hongta Group, brands of cigarettes in domestic production, the modern production technology and equipment, cigarette production, physical distribution, etc by Hongta Group. The guests highly commented on the neat and orderly environment of the production workshop, and comprehensively learned about Hongta Group's production and operation for international markets, quality control system and control standards. Meanwhile, they expressed the wish and demand for joint cooperation in developing tobacco markets in Ukraine and Iran. At the conclusion of the visit, the guests and hosts had a group picture taken to signify the start of a process to seek joint cooperation in tobacco trade. Enditem
