Perth Airport Introducing Civilized Smoking Areas Source from: Tobacco Reporter 01/06/2012 The airport at Perth, Western Australia, will soon have purpose-built smoking rooms at its domestic and international terminals, according to a story in The West Australian.
The first of the enclosed smoking facilities, which will have capacity for 60 people, vending machines and flight information displays, is due to open outside the southern end of the domestic terminal next month.
A Perth Airport spokeswoman said it was committed to providing a "safe and pleasant environment for passengers, visitors, staff and contractors" and was "currently working toward achieving smoke-free forecourts". Enditem
