PTC's Nine-Month Volume Sales Up Nearly 10 Per Cent Source from: Tobacco Reporter 11/25/2011 Pakistan Tobacco Company (PTC), a subsidiary of British American Tobacco, sold about 30 billion cigarettes during January-September, 9.6 per cent more than it sold during the first nine months of 2010, according to a Business Recorder story relayed by the TMA.
PTC's domestic market share grew to almost 50 per cent during the January-September period, with the recently re-launched Capstan brand capturing 14 per cent.
The company markets Dunhill, Benson Hedges, John Player Gold Leaf, Capstan, Embassy and Gold Flake cigarettes in Pakistan. Enditem
