Little Rock Doctor Appointed to Tobacco Settlement Commission

Arkansas House Speaker Robert S. Moore Jr. said today he has appointed Dr. James B. Hazlewood to the state Tobacco Settlement Commission. Hazlewood has a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and has been in private practice for 31 years. He currently practices at Little Rock Diagnostic Clinic. His term will expire Sept. 30, 2015. The nine-member commission is responsible for monitoring and evaluating health programs established under the Tobacco Settlement Proceeds Act. Enditem
