Ningbo Cigarette Factory to be Relocated Source from: Tobacco Reporter 09/20/2011 The Zhejiang Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corp's Ningbo Cigarette Factory is to be relocated.
The Ningbo City Economic Development Areas Administration Commission announced on September 13 that the project, involving an investment of more than Yuan4 billion, would see the factory moved to a new site in the economic development area of Fenghua City, Zhejiang.
The new factory is to be built on a 49.3 ha site beginning during the second half of next year.
Last year, the Ningbo Cigarette Factory, which has a workforce of 960, produced about 37 billion cigarettes and generated Yuan8.198 billion in taxes.
Its cigarette brands include Liqun, the Great Red Eagle and The Lion. Enditem
