Imperial Tobacco (LSE: IMT.L - news) has today, 14 September 2011, purchased 150,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 2023.759 pence per ordinary share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Imperial Tobacco holds 55,652,000 ordinary shares as treasury shares.
