Tobacco Products Have Substantial Potential

Tobacco products have been found to comprise one of the sectors of the Bulgarian economy with substantial potential for growth, according to a Novinite story quoting a report of a recent study by the country's Finance Ministry. The report says that electronics, IT, and services outsourcing are the sectors that harbor the greatest growth potential. But it identifies, too, other sectors with significant potential, including tobacco products, food, agriculture, freight transport, the chemical industry and machine building. The report of the Economic Analysis and Forecasts Directorate of the Finance Ministry, which was published yesterday, looked at the performance of the Bulgarian economy during the period 2008-2010.
