Alec Bradley Beefs Up Prensado Line

When Alec Bradley released its box-pressed Prensado brand in 2009, a 54 ring gauge Gran Toro was the thickest cigar in the line. Now, Alec Bradley has dwarfed the Gran Toro by pressing its Honduran/Nicaraguan blend of tobacco into a chunky 60 ring gauge cigar dubbed the Prensado Double T. At 6 inches by 60 ring, it is the thickest cigar in the Prensado line.

"Big ring gauge cigars are very popular right now," said brand owner Alan Rubin. "This cigar is big, bold and full of flavor."
The blend consists of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco, featuring a Nicaraguan binder from the Jalapa region and a Honduran Corojo 2006 wrapper that Rubin says comes from the Trojes farm.
Like the rest of the line, Double T cigars are made at the Raices Cubanas factory in Honduras. They come in boxes of 20 and retail for $12.00 each. Enditem
