JT Resumes Unrestricted Distribution

Japan Tobacco Inc said today that it had lifted the purchase order ceiling on the remaining 16 products that still had been subjected to such limitation. JT was forced to introduce a series of measures that initially halted distribution of its products and then gradually lifted those restrictions as its manufacturing and distribution operations recovered from the effects of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. The company took the opportunity to discontinue production of some of its minor products, but all 73 of its remaining products are now available without restriction. Enditem
