China: Exclusive Line for Producing Chunghwa Brand Cigarettes Passes Inspection

Shanghai Tobacco Group - a large-scale State-owned modern tobacco manufacturer based in east China's Shanghai City - had the exclusive line for producing cigarettes of its time-honored famous Chunghwa brand pass a stringent inspection for technical acceptance by Shanghai City Product Safety and Quality Supervision General Station on May 30. Covering a total construction area of 129,000 square meters, the exclusive line for producing Chunghwa brand cigarettes has 85,963 square meters of production workshops and 38,913 square meters of auxiliary workshops. Besides, it also has a number of projects of mechanical and electrical installations including water, electricity, ventilation, steaming, vacuum, air conditioning, refrigeration, fire prevention and control, entrance guard, broadcast, automatic control, security control, energy recycling, dust removal and odor treatment. The project of construction and installation of the exclusive line for producing Chunghwa brand cigarettes was completed in two and a half years. Enditem
