C.Gars to Host London Auction of Havanas

Manolo and the Gypsies are set to ignite C.Gars Ltd's first summer cigars auction and dinner at Boisdale Canary Wharf on July 4, according to the tobacco writer and broadcaster, James Leavey. "What a combo," Leavey quoted Mitchell Orchant, the managing director, C.Gars, as saying. "Where else could you listen to the most exciting musicians in the world while you enjoy the finest malt whiskies, champagne, wine and food? You also get the chance to bid at the fourth C.Gars Ltd auction of 250 lots of the world's most sought-after aged, mature and limited edition Havanas." One hundred and eighty of the world's wealthiest and most discerning cigar aficionados, including a world famous American film director, and Japanese designer, are said to have already booked their places. "Guests will be flying in from New York, L.A., Chicago, Tokyo, Hong Kong and mainland Europe," said Orchant, "drooling with anticipation of what promises to be a great evening. "Even better, the auction's lucky bidders can sample their rare premium cigars on Boisdale Canary Wharf's cigar terrace; one of the few places left in the UK where cigar lovers can enjoy a fine uninterrupted smoke in peace with like-minded friends and acquaintances.
