ST Takes Fine Cut Share on Norwegian Market

Scandinavian Tobacco's (ST) share of the Norwegian retail market for hand-rolling tobacco last year, at 34.8 per cent, was up by 1.0 percentage point on that of the previous year, according to an Esmerk Norwegian News story. Philip Morris' share was down by 0.2 of a percentage point to 57.5 per cent, Imperial Tobacco's share was down by 0.6 of a percentage point to 5.7 per cent, Conrad Langaard's share was down by 0.1 of a percentage point to 1.5 per cent, and British American Tobacco's share was down by 0.1 of a percentage point to 0.5 per cent. The four most popular brands were PM's Petterøes, whose share was down by 0.2 of a percentage point to 57.5 per cent, ST's Tiedemanns Rød, whose share was up by 1.1 percentage points to 27.6 per cent, ST's Tiedemanns Gul, whose share was unchanged at 5.4 per cent, and Imperial's Eventyrblanding, whose share was down by 0.4 of a percentage point to 4.5 per cent.
