European Cigar Body Elects Wintermans President

Ad Wintermans (above), CEO and owner of Royal Agio Cigars, has been elected president of the European Cigar Manufacturers Association (ECMA). Wintermans succeeds Rob Zwarts, who had been president since 2006. The other members of the ECMA board are Mark Arnauts (JT International, UK), Beat Burger (Burger Söhne, Switzerland), Fernando Dominguez (Altadis, Spain) and Guido Vandermarliere (J. Cortès Cigars, Belgium). The ECMA's secretary general is Marcel Crijnen, who is, too, president of the Dutch Cigar Manufacturers' Association. Enditem
