Spring Cigars Party Offers Vintage Experience

C.Gars Ltd, the UK's biggest specialist cigar merchants, will celebrate with a Spring Cigars party the opening of its first Orchant Humidor for vintage Havanas, which is part of a cigars shop at Boisdale Canary Wharf. "Fifty years before the UK's smoking ban, boxes of Havanas were unloaded in London's docks and wharfs for the pleasure of Britain's cigar lovers," said Mitchell Orchant, the managing director of C.Gars. "Some of those vintage Havanas have survived and will shortly be on sale in London's Docklands to cigar aficionados at Ranald Macdonald's splendid new restaurant and music venue, Boisdale Canary Wharf. "I'd like to reassure all my guests that their evening of fine food, wine, whiskies and live music by Reuben Richards and the Soul Train won't be spoiled by H.M. Customs, for we have paid all the taxes and won't be lighting up in non-smoking areas. "Like Ranald's future guests, they can enjoy a fine uninterrupted smoke in Boisdale Canary Wharf's Cuban sampling room, and cigar terrace - part of which is Members Only."
