Workshop of Key Cigarette Factory Starts Move of Equipment to New Site

Workshop No. 4 in Production Department No. 5 of Kunming Cigarette Factory - a key cigarette making enterprise affiliated to HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - started on February 18 the process of moving its production equipment to the new site of Kunming Cigarette Factory, in the execution of the project of technological transformation and relocation of Kunming Cigarette Factory. In accordance with the general planning and requirement of the project of technological transformation and relocation of Kunming Cigarette Factory, the workers and staff members of Workshop No. 4, after a brief meeting of mobilization, started the work of dismantling and moving the KDF2E cigarette filter tip shaping machine, the Moline composite cigarette filter tip making unit and a KDF2 cigarette filter tip shaping machine at the workshop in keeping with the planned arrangement and procedure. Under coordination and cooperation by the Equipment and Capital Construction Department, the Production Safety Protection Department and external cooperation units, the human resources with the workshop in charge of machinery, power supply, transportation, loading, escort, unloading, installation, etc closely cooperated with one another, and managed to pool the wisdom and efforts of everyone in moving the equipment. On February 20, they succeeded in moving the KDF2E cigarette filter tip shaping machine, the Moline composite cigarette filter tip making unit and a KDF2 cigarette filter tip shaping machine to designated areas in the new site, and succeeded in reassembling the KDF2E cigarette filter tip shaping machine and a KDF2 cigarette filter tip shaping machine, and basically completing the preliminary reassembling of the Moline composite cigarette filter tip making unit. In the ensuing week, the workshop was to move four more sets of equipment - cigarette filter tip ejecting machines No. 1 and No. 2, the KDF3 filter tip shaping machine and the KDF4 cigarette filter tip shaping machine. The workshop, while managing to ensure normal production, designated part of its workforce to technologically transform a KDF2 cigarette filter tip shaping machine and two cigarette filter tip ejecting units.
