HongyungHonghe Leaders Inspect Cigarette Factory

A delegation of top leaders of HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer - inspected Qujing Cigarette Factory affiliated to it on December 8, checking and guiding the work of production and management as well as technological transformation and reconstruction.

The delegation included HongyunHonghe Board of Directors Chairman Yao Qingyan, CEO Wu Yi, Deputy CEOs Gu Hong and He Guogang, and Assistant to the CEO Dai Wei. Accompanied by the leadership of Qujing Cigarette Factory including Director Huang Zhongmu and Communist Party group Secretary Ma Zhen, the HongyunHonghe leaders firstly went to Manufacturing Department No. 1 to repeatedly check the process of quality control over online products, elaborately inspected all key processes of leaf tobacco cutting and cigarette making, and asked leaders of the cigarette factory on the spot about implementation of various production plans and fulfillment of the relevant control targets.

For Manufacturing Department No. 2 of Qujing Cigarette Factory, it has been operating at full capacity recently in fulfilling with high quality the production orders issued by HongyunHonghe for December, with staff members and working extra shifts or extra hours. At Manufacturing Department No. 2, the leaders inspected the operation of production equipment and the result of operation of the technologically improved 5,000 kg leaf tobacco cutting line, and asked leaders of the department about the application of relevant technologies. In particular, Yao Qingyan fully affirmed the achievements made by Qujing Cigarette Factory in quality control over production of cigarettes using brands of HongyunHonghe at different sites. Presently, Qujing Cigarette Factory is fulfilling a project of technological transformation, which is a strategic project meant to strengthen the overall competitiveness of Hongyun-Honghe. Hongyun-Honghe has always attached great importance to this project. During the inspection, the Hongyun-Honghe leaders attentively heard reports on fulfillment of the project, and required Qujing Cigarette Factory to pay attention to specific processes, well implement the relevant plans, and do all it can to guarantee that the structure of technologies established following fulfillment of the project of technological transformation will meet the demand of HongyunHonghe for future development of competitive cigarette brands.
