High-level Delegation From Hauni Visits HongyunHonghe

A high-level delegation from Hauni Maschinenbau AG of Germany, led by CEO Christopher Somm, visited HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer - on November 22, holding talks with leaders of HongyunHonghe on continued development of business cooperation between the two sides.

During talks between the two sides, Wu Yi briefed the Hauni delegation on HongyunHonghe's production and marketing over recent years, and also progress in the relocation and technological transformation of Kunming Cigarette Factory affiliated to HongyunHonghe. He told the Hauni delegation that Hauni has extended great support to projects of technological transformation of HongyunHonghe, and that the process of cooperation between the two sides is satisfactory.
To continue cooperation with Hauni as a world-class advanced transnational tobacco machinery manufacturer meet the demand of HongyunHonghe for future development, he said.
As the projects of technological transformation of HongyunHonghe have so far entered the stage of solving hard technological problems, HongyunHonghe hopes that Hauni will continue to extend assistance and support to the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer as it has always done, according to Wu Yi.
Wu Yi expressed the belief that with concerted efforts by both sides, the project of technological transformation of Kunming Cigarette Factory will become a best showcase for Hauni to demonstrate its technological level and capacity in China.
Speaking on the same occasion, Christopher Somm said that for many years, Hauni's cooperation with HongyunHonghe has been friendly and successful. In future, in terms of both equipment and technology, Hauni will do all it can to extend support and cooperation to HongyunHonghe as long as HongyunHonghe needs it, he said.
Christopher Somm expressed the hope that the projects of technological transformation of HongyunHonghe will be completed smoothly and as scheduled, and that the cooperation in technological innovation between the two sides will be more fruitful.
In the talks, the two sides also conducted in-depth exchange of opinions on issues concerning the choice of models of equipment as well as installation and debugging of equipment, and jointly explored relevant technical issues. Enditem
