China: STMA Extends Donation to China Women's Development Foundation

The State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) - the regulator of China's tobacco industry - held a ceremony in Beijing on November 10 to inaugurate the establishment of a 10-million-yuan (1.48-million-U.S.-dollar) fund, known as "The Golden Leaf Fund", as a donation to China Women's Development Foundation. The Golden Leaf Fund will be directly used to support the project of Water Cellars for Mothers and the project of The Health Express Train for Mothers sponsored by China Women's Development Foundation. The ceremony was presided over by Deputy Secretary General Zhu Xisheng of China Women's Development Foundation at the head office of All-China Women's Federation. Enditem
