Malaysia Tobacco Sector Downgraded

Malaysia's tobacco industry was downgraded to "underweight" from "neutral" at OSK Research Sdn Bhd following a rise in excise duties. The broking house said in a report today that this prompted it to lower its earnings estimates and share forecasts. British American Tobacco Malaysia Bhd's fair value was cut to RM38.75 from RM40.12.
