Filter Tip Maker Invites Experts to Prove Project of Relocation, Transformation

Nantong Cigarette Filter Tip Co., Ltd. in east China's Jiangsu Province - a leading Chinese cigarette filter tip manufacturer - has recently invited a panel of experts to theoretically prove feasibility of its project of relocation and technological transformation intended to significantly upgrade its production and enlarge its annual production capacity. On September 16, the panel of experts invited met at a meeting held by Nantong Cigarette Filter Tip Co., Ltd. under the sponsorship of Jiangsu Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corporation to prove feasibility of the project. Attending the meeting were about 30 people including six experts from Hefei Designing Institute of China National Tobacco Corporation led by President Zhu Xiaoping of the institute, a delegation from Jiangsu Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corporation led by Director Jian Yaoyi of its Comprehensive Planning Department, and representatives from Shanghai Haicheng Designing Institute, Nantong City Chongchuan District Government and Nantong Cigarette Filter Tip Co., Ltd. General Manager Jiang Hongxi of Jiangsu Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corporation particularly held talks with the panel of experts to exchange views on the project. The panel of experts the other participants in the meeting first of all examined a sand table of the project and conducted on-site inspection of the existing technology center and production workshops of Nantong Cigarette Filter Tip Co., Ltd. After hearing reports on the basic situation of the project and technological plans for the project, they discussed and conducted technological inquiries about the contents, necessity and feasibility of the project, and carefully checked the relevant documentation, before entry into the procedure of debate and review. On the basis of study and theoretical proof, the panel of experts considered the project to be of specific targets for technological transformation, rational basic contents, necessary and feasibility. Therefore, the panel of experts unanimously agreed to adopt the project and put forward suggestions on its specific improvement and amendment.
