Key Cigarette Factory to Introduce 8S On-Site Management

Huize Cigarette Factory of the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province has recently decided to introduce the 8S on-site management model, on the basis of its obvious operational improvement since it adopted the 6S on-site management model one year ago.

The introduction of the 8S on-site management model - with the addition of saving and service to the 6S on-site management model - is intended to keep promoting on-site management at the cigarette factory and to promote its operation to a higher level. Recently, Huize Cigarette Factory has taken steps to hold training classes on basic knowledge about 8S on-site management, and has invited Ma Yutian - an expert on 8S on-site management - to give lectures on saving and service to its staff members and workers. Altogether, more than 200 people, including middle-level managers, management staff members at the group chief level and higher, and workers from the relevant departments of the factory attended a two-day program of training.
