BAT Korea Launches Two-Taste Product Source from: Tobacco Reporter 07/15/2010 British American Tobacco Korea is launching Kent Convertibles, a brand that offers two different smoking sensations in a single cigarette, reports the Korea Times.
Kent Convertibles comprises a two-part, charcoal and cellulose filter with a small liquid-filled flavor capsule. When customers click the filter to release the flavor from the capsule while smoking, they can indulge in a second taste.
BAT Korea labels the technology as the biggest innovation in tobacco since the creation of the filter. The cigarette has 6 mg tar content and priced at KRW2,500 ($2.08) a pack.
"The cutting-edge taste transmission technology of Kent Convertibles now allows consumers to interact with their cigarettes to choose whenever they want to experience a new smoking sensation," said BAT Korea's marketing executive director, Guy Meldrum. Enditem
