'Strategic Investor' Examining Bulgartabac

Bulgaria's Minister for the Economy, Energy and Tourism, Traicho Traikov, has said that a strategic investor is examining the privatization of Bulgartabac, according to a Novinite story. "There is a strategic investor for Bulgartabac and the bidding will be opened by the end of the autumn," Traikov said in an interview for the daily Standard newspaper. Bulgaria's Privatization Agency hopes to complete the sale of Bulgartabac this year. Bulgartabac owns factories in Sofia and Blagoevgrad as well as a number of cigarette brands. Enditem
