Deputy Provincial Governor Inspects Cigarette Factory

Deputy Provincial Governor Li Jiang of southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province inspected Huize Cigarette Factory of the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in Yunnan - the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer - on April 13, visiting production facilities and giving instructions on coordinated development. Accompanied by top leaders of Huize County and Huize County Communist Party Committee as well as Director Xiao Yaze of Huize Cigarette Factory, Li and his entourage respectively visited the leaf tobacco cutting workshop and the cigarette making workshop at the factory, hearing reports given by Xiao on production and management.

During the inspection, Li showed a great interest in Huize Cigarette Factory's project of ongoing technological transformation. He instructed the cigarette factory to well coordinate the planning for and designing of its project of technological transformation with Huize County's efforts for tourism development. Enditem
