Provincial Company Starts Unit Construction of Exclusive Base in Neighboring Province

Guizhou Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corporation in southwest China's Guizhou Province has recently started the unit construction of a high-quality strongly aromatic leaf tobacco production base in Jiahe County of Chenzhou City in the neighboring Hunan Province, to produce leaf tobacco with local characteristics for making its Guiyan brand cigarettes. On April 14, a ceremony was held to start the unit construction of the exclusive base at the Guangfa Modern Tobacco Agricultural Model Park in Jiahe County. Jiahe County is a famous region for producing high-quality leaf tobacco in substitution for leaf tobacco imports, and is also a base for the development of high-quality strongly aromatic leaf tobacco with local characteristics. The county was once awarded a Golden Leaf prize by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration and China National Leaf Tobacco Corporation. Enditem
