Provincial Governor Inspects Cigarette Factory

Governor Qin Guangrong of southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province inspected Huize Cigarette Factory of the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group - the largest Chinese Tobacco Manufacturer - on March 29, accompanied by top leaders of the local Communist Party Committees and governments of Qujing City and Huize County.

During the inspection, the provincial governor and his entourage respectively visited the leaf tobacco-cutting workshop and cigarette-making workshop of Huize Cigarette Factory. Director Xiao Yaze of the factory specifically introduced the history of development and the current situation of Huize Cigarette Factory, and a project of technological transformation to be fulfilled by the factory in the near future. Qin showed a great interest in the project of technological transformation of Huize Cigarette Factory, expressing the hope that Huize Cigarette Factory will realize better development in future, and encouraging it to make greater contribution to continued development of the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group and the local economy.
