HongyunHonghe's Technological Research And Development Achievements Pass Appraisal

The HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer - has seen its 10 achievements of technological research and development pass stringent appraisal by a panel of experts both with the tobacco industry and from other sectors.

The 10 achievements of technological research and development are achievements in the fulfillment of two technological research and development projects assigned to HongyunHonghe by Yunnan Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corporation - the Research of Zhaotong Leaf Tobacco Resources Attribute and Application and the Computer-Assisted Cigarette Product Designing - and also achievements in eight technological research and development projects funded by HongyunHonghe itself.

In conducting the appraisal, the panel of experts, organized by the Scientific-Technological Development Department of Yunnan Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corporation, agreed that in the fulfillment of the project of Research of Zhaotong Leaf Tobacco Resources Attribute and Application, breakthrough was achieved in the layout of tobacco plantations and development of leaf tobacco production technology, with the research work in the project reaching an advanced level of domestic research in the same field.
The panel of experts also agreed that in the fulfillment of the project of the Computer-Assisted Cigarette Product Designing, successes were achieved in the treble mechanism for early warning in physicochemical indexes, costs and inventories of leaf tobacco and in the management of standard components of tobacco machinery, with the overall research in the project reaching an advanced level domestically, which has contributed to providing technological support for cigarette product designing and quality control.
Meanwhile, the panel of experts agreed that innovations were made in the fulfillment of the eight technological research and development projects funded by HongyunHonghe itself, including the project of Development of New Pretreatment Technologies for Promoting Adaptability of Cut Stems and the project of Technological Transformation of the System of Balance in Wind-Force Cut Tobacco Delivery in Cigarette Making Machines, which have generated relatively good socioeconomic results.
On the basis of their finding, the panel of experts unanimously agreed to certificate all the 10 achievements. Enditem
