Interest Growing in India's Premium Cigar Market

ITC is teaming up with La Aurora, of the Dominican Republic, to offer Indian consumers a line of premium hand-rolled cigars at prices less than half of those of Cuban cigars, according to a story in The Economic Times quoting a person "close to the matter". The Armenteros-brand cigars will be manufactured by La Aurora. An ITC spokesperson confirmed the development, but did not provide any details.
