Avo Uvezian's New Birthday Cigar

Avo Uvezian, famous jazz pianist and cigar enthusiast, is turning 84, and Davidoff is once again releasing a special limited-edition smoke to celebrate. The Avo Limited Edition LE10 is constructed with an Ecuadoran sun grown wrapper, a binder of Mexican Sumatra tobacco, and Dominican ligero tobacco for the filler. The LE10 measures 5 1/2 inches by 55 ring gauge, a size Davidoff is calling a super robusto. The company says the Dominican-made cigars are full bodied. To launch the LE10, Davidoff will be hosting a series of cigar dinner events at 13 selected tobacco shops around the country. Guests will enjoy food and wine, as well as a jazz performance by Uvezian himself, while, of course, being among the first to be able to taste and purchase the limited-edition cigar.
