China:Senior Officials With Tobacco Industry Inspect Key Cigarette Factory

Deputy General Manager Gu Bo of Yunnan Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corporation and General Manager Zhao Yong of Yunnan Provincial China Tobacco Materials Supply Group led a delegation to inspect Qujing Cigarette Factory - a key Chinese tobacco manufacturer based on southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - on January 19.

During the inspection, the delegation asked about the management and use of supplies for tobacco production and spare parts of tobacco machinery on the part of the two enterprises, attentively heard opinions from all parties concerned, and expressed their own opinions about the work of guaranteeing the supply of materials for tobacco production in Qujing City. Speaking during the inspection, Zhao Yong said that the inspection was intended to collect opinions and suggestions from Qujing Cigarette Factory about the management and supply of materials for tobacco production by Yunnan Provincial China Tobacco Materials Supply Group, in order that the latter will be able to keep improving its work, and provide better service for the tobacco manufacturing enterprise through specialized management, well regulated operation, careful provision of service and orderly internal management. Speaking on the same occasion, Director Huang Muzhong of Qujing Cigarette Factory said that with the support of all parties, Qujing Cigarette Factory had been striving to promote the development of both the tobacco industry of Yunnan and the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group - its parent company. In response to the call of HongyunHonghe for enlarging and strengthening its overall capacity, Qujing Cigarette Factory has put forward the slogan of making "Made in Qujing" increasingly more competitive, has been pursuing the goals of high quality and low consumption of raw materials, and has been striving to turn "Made in Qujing" a well-known mark of its products. Also speaking on the occasion, Gu Bo highly commented on the progress and great changes realized by Qujing Cigarette Factory over recent years, and said that Qujing Cigarette Factory had been in a very favorable trend of development over recent years, with the making of great achievements, and that it had taken a lead in production management, on-site management, etc in the tobacco industry of Yunnan. Besides, Qujing Cigarette Factory has also achieved inspiring success in its project of technical transformation. When the project of technical transformation is completed, Qujing Cigarette Factory is expected to realize greater progress, Gu said, adding that he believed Qujing Cigarette Factory could be expected to make even greater success in business operation in future.
