HongyunHonghe Rated as National-Level Model Cigarette Sales Enterprise

The HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer - was rated as a national-level model cigarette sales enterprise at the 2009 national cigarette sales conference held in Beijing on November 26-27, and won a first prize to this effect.

At the meeting, General Manager Wu Genghong of China National Cigarette Sales Corporation delivered a report on the work of cigarette sales in China in 2009 while Deputy Director-General He Zehua of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration gave an important speech. Also at the meeting, representatives from both manufacturing and commercial enterprises of the tobacco industry exchanged experience in cigarette sales in 2009, and held panel discussions. Deputy General Manager Qin Qianhao of China National Cigarette Sales Corporation comprehensively summed up the results of the two-day conference, and made arrangements for cigarette sales and coordination between manufacturing and commercial enterprises in marketing. The meeting honored national-level model cigarette sales enterprises and granted first prizes to four tobacco manufacturing enterprises -- HongyunHonghe, Hongta Tobacco Group, Shanghai Tobacco Group and Hubei Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corporation. Members of the HongyunHonghe delegation to the conference included President Zhu Shaoming, Deputy President Feng Bin, Chief Inspector Ma Zongze of the Marketing Center, and Deputy Chief Inspectors Lu Jiamou, Xu Guangjin and Yue Lin of the Marketing Center.
