Bentoel And BAT Indonesia Merger Approved

Shareholders in PT British American Tobacco (BAT) Indonesia and PT Bentoel International Investama have approved the proposed merger of the two companies, according to a story in The Jakarta Post. A statement issued on Friday said 99.99 per cent of shareholders in Bentoel and 86.62 per cent of shareholders in BAT Indonesia had approved the merger in separate extraordinary meetings.
