HongyunHonghe Earns Title of Honor as Advanced Enterprise

The HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer - has recently won the title of honor as a "quality- and efficiency-based advanced enterprise of Yunnan Province for the year 2008," which was jointly awarded by a number of provincial-level organizations of Yunnan Province. In awarding the title of honor, Yunnan Provincial Quality Association, Yunnan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, the Chinese Communist Youth League Yunnan Provincial Committee, Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Association and Yunnan Provincial Women's Federation issued a joint official document to honor the quality- and efficiency-based advanced enterprises and model workers in quality control with them. He Guogang, vice-president of HongyunHonghe, won the title as a "model worker in quality control". The activity to award titles of honor to both enterprises and individuals this time is intended to encourage enterprises to strengthen their quality control, promote their quality control and market competitiveness to higher levels on a full scale, and urge enterprises to adopt the path of development on the basis of quality and efficiency and to provide high-quality goods and services to society.
