Enhanced Snus Emerges From SM/PMI Partnership

Swedish Match says it has taken over production and sales of the 1847 brand of snus, on license from Philip Morris. It says it has enhanced the recipe and refined the format and design of 1847, which is PM's flagship product in the snus category. The Swedish Match version of 1847 is described as having a medium-bodied tobacco flavor with clear elements of bergamot, fresh herbs and dried fruit.
