PM USA Launches Blend No.54

Philip Morris USA recently launched Marlboro Blend No. 54, a full-flavor menthol cigarette line. Although Marlboro has offered several styles of menthol cigarette products for many years, the new Marlboro Blend No. 54 complements the Marlboro Menthol brand family by offering a new full-flavor menthol cigarette targeted toward adult smokers who prefer a richer, bolder taste. According to Greg Mathe, corporate communications spokesperson for Philip Morris, full-flavor cigarettes currently represent more than half of the menthol segment. "We believe there's an opportunity to connect with more full-flavor menthol cigarette smokers," Mathe says. "And, consistent with past line extensions, the company expects Marlboro Blend No. 54 will help PM USA further grow its share in this segment." Enditem
