Deputy STMA Chief Inspects Project of Relocation, Technical Transformation of Key Cigarette Factory

Deputy Director-General Zhang Hui of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA), accompanied by Director Yu Yundong and Deputy General Manager Tong Rongkun of Yunnan Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration, conducted an on-site inspection of the project of relocation and technical transformation of Kunming Cigarette Factory of the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province on October 19.

Receiving Zhang and his entourage were leaders of the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group including vice-president Wu Yi, Communist Party Disciplinary Inspection Commission chief Wei Zhigang and Assistant Dai Wei to the president of HongyunHonghe. At the site of relocation and technical transformation, Zhang specifically asked about fulfillment of the project of relocation and technical transformation, expressing the hope that through the relocation and technical transformation, the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group - the largest tobacco manufacturer in China - will better advance toward the goal of turning itself into an enterprise with first-rate brands, first-rate management and first-rate technologies.
