China Starts Survey of Prevalence of Tobacco Among Adults

China started in Beijing on September 3 a survey of prevalence of tobacco among adults under the auspices of China Diseases Prevention and Control Center and with the participation of diseases prevention and control organs at all levels, which is intended to investigate in an in-depth way the use of tobacco by both urban and rural residents, exposure to second-hand smoking and the frequency of trials to give up smoking.
