Altria Increases Quarterly Dividend 6.3%

RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Altria Group, Inc. (Altria) (NYSE:MO) today announced that its Board of Directors voted to increase the company's regular quarterly dividend by 6.3% to $0.34 per common share versus the previous rate of $0.32 per common share. The new annualized dividend rate is $1.36 per common share. The quarterly dividend is payable on October 9, 2009 to stockholders of record as of September 15, 2009.
