HongyunHonghe Sponsors Vocational Training For Standardization in Logistics

The HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer - has recently started a program to sponsor vocational training for standardization in logistics, intended to enhance the awareness of workers about the significance of standardization in logistics. On August 18, a grand ceremony was held in the provincial capital city of Kunming to inaugurate the program. Vice-President He Guogang of the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group and nearly 40 leading officials in charge of the business of logistics were present at the ceremony. In an address to the ceremony, He Guogang objectively analyzed the situation of development of the business of logistics in China, and introduced the policies on future development of the business of logistics in the tobacco industry of China. He Guogang put forward a series of relevant requirements for the program, including the following key points: Firstly, leaders of enterprises should attach great importance to the program and enhance their understanding about it. It is imperative to take the publicity and implementation of technical standardization under the program as an opportunity to further enhance the awareness of the whole tobacco industry about modern logistics, specify the duties of all, improve the various management systems, and pave the way for the work of publicity and implementation of technical standards for logistics. Secondly, it is essential to pass on level-to-level what is taught under the program and unify understanding about standardization in logistics. After returning to their enterprises upon completion of the program, all trainees should organize internal training within their enterprises about what they have learned under the program, and act to regulate and guide the work of logistics with industrial standards. And thirdly, it is essential to specify key points of the work of standardization in logistics and formulate relevant measures. Efforts should be made to carry out the work of publicity and implementation of technical standards in accordance with the key points of work, in order to keep promoting the work of logistics of HongyunHonghe.
