HongyunHonghe's Trinity of Management Systems Pass Third-Party Verification

A trinity of management systems of the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer - has recently passed strict examination and verification by a third party, signifying that both the operation quality and operation efficiency of the management systems of HongyunHonghe have reached a new level. On August 14, the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group held a final meeting on the supervisory examination and verification of its trinity of management systems - the quality control system, the environmental management system and the occupational health and safety management system. At the meeting, Beijing New Century Certification Co., Ltd. - in the capacity of a third party - conducted comprehensive assessment of the quality control system, the environmental management system and the occupational health and safety management system of the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group. Speaking at the meeting, leaders of the examination and verification groups briefed the participants on the results of examination and verification of the trinity of management systems of HongyunHonghe, in comparison with the results of examination and verification conducted at other tobacco manufacturing enterprises in Yunnan, and put forward proposals and suggestions for further improvement. Afterwards, Ji Xing, the chief of the examination and verification groups, declared that the quality control system, the environmental management system and the occupational health and safety management system established and applied by the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group meet the requirement for technical standards and the requirement for changes of the scope of coverage of products, and that the examination and verification groups agreed to renew certification and registration of the trinity of management systems of HongyunHonghe. Meanwhile, Ji Xing also put forward suggestions for deepening the comprehensive management systems, combination of different management methods, compliance with the requirement for duties, etc. Speaking on the same occasion, HongyunHonghe Vice-President He Guogang, also in the capacity of the representative of the management of HongyunHonghe, raised specific demands for improvement of management of the group over a next period of time, requiring all departments and all producing factories of the group to further enhance the awareness about and attach greater importance to improvement of management, and do a good job of correction and prevention in management. For functional departments with problems existing in them, they should earnestly undergo rectification and improvement, and strengthen efforts to implement the systemic documents concerned, he said. The vice-president also said that it is imperative to adopt effectual measures to improve the system of technical standards, conspicuously solve the practical problems existing in production and operation of the group, and keep promoting both the proficiency and efficiency of operation of the management systems of HongyunHonghe. The trinity of management systems is based on integration of essential factors in accordance with the realities of the enterprises concerned, to form a comprehensive package of management systems for quality control, environmental control and control over occupational health and safety.
